Title Using Chandelier Lighting to Create a New Look

You can gain a whole new look for a room just by changing the lighting. Different types of fixtures give off different impressions and can create a new style, while also providing different types of light. One type of lighting that can make a big impact is chandelier lighting. Removing a fixture with one or just a few bulbs and replacing it with a chandelier will make a big difference in the appearance of your room.

One important thing to consider when purchasing chandelier lighting is the size of the chandelier. You want it to be the right size so that it won't look too small or be too overpowering. One method for deciding the diameter of the chandelier is to take the length and width of the room in feet and add them together, and then get a chandelier that is that many inches across. For low ceilings you need to be sure to get a chandelier that hangs closer to the ceiling, while for very high ceilings you want one that will hang lower down so it will not appear too small.

Once you know the size of the chandelier lighting that you require, you can choose the style that you would like. You will want to make sure that the style of the chandelier fits in with the rest of your decorating scheme, however. You can consider options such as wrought iron chandeliers, which would look nice if you have used wrought iron in other areas of the decor. You might also consider a candle chandelier.

Keep in mind that different styles of chandelier lighting will give off different types of light. If you want to keep things bright, you will want a lot of bulbs and you will want them to be open. Another option is to get one that focuses the light up to the ceiling, so you get a more gentle and diffused light. The purpose of the room might help to determine which type you should get. Obviously a study would require a brighter type of lighting to make sure you could see your documents well. However, a dining room might be a good place to use more diffused light to make your meal time a bit more romantic.

There are so many different styles and types of chandeliers out there, it might help you to decide if you just take a look at what is available and see what you like. You can use your measurements to narrow down the options a bit and come to a final selection.

There's no improvement when you're the best - again, we are very pleased. We love our piece, loved our price and thought that it was great to receive a nice towel and gourmet soap just for purchasing. You have a fantastic selection and the quality is unbelievable. Keep it up!! Peter Kardasakis, NY (UniqueVanities.com Client)
